Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for actively managing own scope and suppliers within this scope / commodities in line with overall procurement objectives in terms of lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company
• Analyze the procurement markets and establish / adopt appropriate procurement and supplier strategies
• Prepare and execute awardings / negotiations for the responsible procurement scopes and evaluate suppliers
• Support new product projects to ensure competitive material costs within the global market by using the best / suitable procurement strategies during the development phase and entire life cycle

Qualifications

• Have completed an university degree in Engineering or Business Administration
• Experience at procurement in a production environment; know-how in automotive market and Turkish & European supplier landscape is an asset
• Are able to analyze technical documents and specifications to understand critical requirements
• Are fluent in German or English to communicate effectively verbally and written
• Practice MS Office applications in advanced level
• Are a team player with excellent communication skills, critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Have the will to travel local and international.
