Principal Investment Officer in Central Asia Region

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Principal Investment Officer to join our Financial Institutions Group (FIG) Middle East, Central Asia, Turkey, Pakistan and Afghanistan (FIG MCT) team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and expertise to FIG's business in Central Asia.
• Serve as the focal point to coordinate FIG's investment program delivery in the CA sub-region.
• Provide value-added services for existing and potential clients through active collaboration with IFC's upstream and advisory programs.
• Drive and shape FIG's financial inclusion strategy, operations, and business growth in the CA sub-region.
• Generate new business opportunities for FIG MCT.

Selection Criteria

• Master's degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business and/or Finance; Economics, International Development, International Banking.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience with a development finance institution (DFI), a commercial and investment bank or a private equity firm.
• Demonstrated knowledge in financial institutions, climate, gender and digital finance, credit and risk management, corporate governance, responsible finance.
